Hi All,
Im Paul living in Herefordshire in the UK, this is my first post in this brilliant forum. Im a microwave engineer by career, designing antennas and components and have been involved with frequencies from Mhz to THz. Im also into all aspects of electronics and have particualr interest in Tesla Coils and Nixie tubes. Another current project is a GPS tracker for a motorbike with data logger and movement detection that will send you an SMS if there is a problem etc. Other interests include leatherwork for heavy metal band patches, tankards, guitar straps etc.

I look forward to contributing and learning on 4HV.

Welcome!

I design condition monitoring equipment for the electric power industry in my day job. As far as RF goes, I've never ventured above 1GHz.

I also like to build Tesla coils and guitar amps.

Hi Paul, and Welcome to 4HV

My interests are XUV, X-rays below 10keV, hollow cathode glow discharge devices, dosimetry, and amateur radio listening on 8.97kHz, where I haven't actually heard anyone yet, but live in hope! smile

Hi Paul and welcome. I used to work in RF for the UK Government (DC to daylight) but now freelance in everything from transport ticketing systems to blowing stuff up in an artistic way. Basically if it's interesting and they'll pay me then I'll do it. (sometimes I'll do it even if they can't pay me)

Martin.
