Hi! I'm a guy from Spain, and I need your help.
I want to build a solid state tesla coil, but I don't know how.
I tried some circuits and schematics, but they didn't work.
I have an oscillator circuit with 4046, but I don't know how connect the output on a mosfet driver (I have the IR2112). I would like that the driver don't have GDT. I need help, please.

Hello again!
At the end I got a new schematic for the sstc with the cd4046 and ir2112. In the simulation, the circuit works very good, but I build it and didn't work. One of the capacitor of the power supply was burned. I doesn't know what I'm doing wrong.
I need help, please.
In the oscilloscope of the simulation, the Channel A is the output of the cd4046; the Channel B is the high side of the ir2112; and the Channel C is the Drain for the mosfet IRFP250.
Thank you.

What I meant is it polorized like in the picture (like a barrel shape) thats what the schematic calls for, and all the filter circuits i've made i use polarized caps, and if they are polarized make sure they are going the right direction, that could be the root of your problem!

You are right, I use two polarized caps, but they are in the right direction... but my problem doesn't it the cap, I'm here because my solid state tesla coil doens't work. I think that the mosfet gate is open, don't have any resistor, so open the gate produce an shortcircuit in the mosfet, and burn the power supply.
