The TDS210 Accepts 90-250V @ 45-440hz. I see nothing about DC on the back panel.
The inverter put out a 120V pseudo sine. Oddly enough, the scope fails the "acquisition" self check when plugged into it. It doesn't affect anything though.
I decided to put the inverter in a project box. During use it gets a little toasty, but I don't see this to be too much of a problem considering how hot some laptop chargers get. Plus it's a 100 watt inverter and I'm only using 30.
Idk, this could prove to be a useful tool to me. Each of the energizer lipos are 30w/h so assuming 75% efficiency that's 45 minutes a battery. Since this is a DSO and it has that nifty "auto set" button it doesn't have to be on all the time; just when I need it.
To fit it in the box I needed to snip some of the board off and I ended up getting this neat little 1.5A 5v SMPS. Could be useful sometime. The chip's a MC34063.
So, what should we call this little invention?

Port-a-scope? Scope-to-go?
