Some other MOSFETs I like are the SiXXXX from Vishay. Their ratings look pretty unimpressive (20-30V, 5-10A) until you see that they're in a SO-8 package with only the four right-hand pins for heatsinking! I first saw them on laptop motherboards, and have used them in a few designs at work. Besides being tiny and needing no heatsinking, they have amazingly low capacitances and gate charge, and will run cool at 1MHz.
The downside is that they go obsolete every few years. I can't actually remember the part numbers of the ones we're using right now, except for the Si4804BDY.
