Hello, glad to be here.

assembling parts and materials to build my first coil, have a fairly good handle on design and what I need (background in EE helps). Maybe more questions about that another time.....

Considered building my own caps, but have decided to take the quicker route for this one. Understand that Cornell Dubliner 942C20P15K-F are the standard. Good luck to me finding them! No one seems to have them except ebay vendors, which is fine, but am wondering about alternatives. I see genteq 42L series caps mentioned in several places, and see that they are readily available online. How to proceed?

Thanks in advance.....

He's an honest fellow.

He also has some good "builder" projects and they make really great gifts....

Hi Dithersail,

Yes, we have lots of 942C capacitors in stock. We carry both 0.1uF and 0.15uF versions.

Also, if you are a student, we offer a student sponsorship program. Although the program excludes our standard product line, if you are looking for anything else such as discrete components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, MOSFETs, IGBTs, etc...) or HV wire, regular wire, etc... or anything else, we can provide this for your project free of charge. We only request you pay for shipping charges. So far we helped over 100 students with their projects. Contact me directly at my website email address below if you'd like to participate.
