i saw a commercial here in the US, CA it was the Anthony Sullivan guy, advertising a " RoboStir " thingy. My brain was like Whoa! what the hell! how is a rotating body stiring a viscous fluid yet the motor is not attatched to an outside static surface. obviously someone figuered out a clever way to do this, but my brain cant figure this out!!!

Stick/slip motors have industrial applications, though they might not sell as much product as Anthony Sullivan or adult toy shops. picomotor squiggle motor (maybe will get into adult shops eventually )

these are the coolest little devices, wow! i had no idea this was even possible. im glad i asked a question about a stupid TV commercial!
