Hey if there all the same put like 10 in parallel and run it on a zvs driver, i'm modifying my zvs to run on rectified mains, you could do that here!

I hope you have some petty good MOSFETs / IGBTs ubuntupokemoninc....

@littleventu

If you're planning on spending all that money to buy those and build a driver, why not just by a NST?

I already have made a tesla coil with only one flyback and got 4 inch streamers and about 5 inch arcs. I wanted to increase my wattage, so i was going to add more :)

I was thinking 2 or 3.... what would be better series or parallel ?

Certainly //. Series would undoubtedly kill them.

Make sure they all put out the same voltage though. Don't put a 5kV FBT in // with a 10kV one!

You can put in parallel rectified transformers of different voltages but with small loading only the highest voltage one will output current.

In all sincerity, these are a much better deal.
Link2
they will give you a decent arc; they need no driver and they are more robust. I compared them side by side. Buy one of each and test what you' get. remembering that one requires not only a driver config but supporting input, while the other needs only the simplest of set-ups. I put 25v / 5a in the "standard HV x-former and got a very fine quality 3cm arc.

Can try one. The most I put in parallel of eBay flybacks was 5 :)

That little transformer is better than a flyback? it looks very small, and only a 3cm arc. What is the output?

I just purchased two of these transformers smile. If the voltage is high enough, sure it could drive a decent Tesla coil. A voltage as low as 2kv is high enough, you could multiply the voltage if needed.
