Hi, at my university (Washington state) there is a local company that writes a lot of the lectures/labs for courses as well as provides many tools/parts for use in classes. A lot of the teachers also work at or with the company too. Well this semester I was lucky enough to get to loan their new product called the EEBOARD to try out.
Its basically a breadboard that connects via USB to your computer and has built in power supplies, 40MS 4channel scope, waveform function generator, voltmeters, reference voltages, and logic analyzer. Its a pretty awesome device and has worked great for me. I dont mean this to be an advertisement at all (im not associated with the company) but I thought 4hv members might be interested in it. The only downfall is a high cost, about 299$ for students but on the other hand it does replace quite a few instruments and lets you create projects anywhere you've got a laptop.
