Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a isolation transformer 1:1 120v-120v approximately 15-20A or better.

I was hoping someone had something used to sell or trade. Feel free so send me a private message.

I got 1 that will do 25 amps, you can actually vary the voltage just abit with a dile, its for cahnging the input voltage but i cheat with it to get 140 volts out of it tongue

how much are you willing to spend?

what would you trade it for?

Its not a variac, its a isolation transformer, that you set the line voltage too, 105-to 125 volts av and every 5 volts in between that, all i use it for is to cheat the voltage to abuse all my electronics tongue

I saw your dual 811a tc on you tube, and thought mayby you'd trade that transformer for your 2 811a tube

Ill consider it dude. They would be hard for me to replace. And I am having too much fun with them. I pulled them from a heath-kit kilowatt linear amplifier. 4 matched 811a's all near new.

A variac is not isolated.

Actually, YES it is. Its what is more commonly known as a "double wound" variable transformer, which yes, are "isolated" variacs.

I know i said variacs are not isolated (single or dual layer variacs), which in most cases (as much as the variacs people usually have or refer to), but this special class of variacs are isolated.

And that is what you have.

Of course, a picture is worth a thousand words, so if you can post a pic, it would be helpful to all!
