Good day guys

Two of my bench power supplies died almost at the same time and I've finally decided to build a new big one removing the pile of supplies on the workbench.

Sooo after more than a month of work this came to life - a 4 channel 0-20V at 0-4.5A per channel. It has temperature sensors for the heatsinks and the MCU controls the speed of the fan. Each channel has digital volt/amp meter based on pic16f690.

Cheers smile

I've repaired 'professional' equipment that looks nowhere as good
Realy nice job.

Is it fully operational yet?

P.S. An Earth terminal on the front may be useful.

You bet it's a nice power supply! Sorry, Finn, It's already been sold to me...I have agents going over to pick it up this weekend! (he, he!) Unfortunately, I kind of doubt that Huben will let it go...

Good day guys

THANKS for the kind repplys smile

Nope - I am not giving it hee hee tongue

Good day Sulaiman - it is fully operational (atleast for now). There is a small bug with the software of the volt/amp meters but I won't be taking it aparat to fix it (atleast for now). Good catch about the ground connector. I can't believe I forgot it. ... I had to use the handle last night wink

Here is the circuit of the regulator - it is from a local electronics magazine (the v-reg at the top is for the indicator boards). It has 4 identical channels. The volt/amp meters and the temperature monitor are nothing special - based on f690 and lm355.

Cheers
