So, what did you guys build in this winters snow? :)

My girlfriend and I did two snowmen today, one was drunk and fell. The Iglo took some hours to do, but its big enough for 4 inside!

My HTC Tattoo shit camera will have to be the excuse for the less than okay pictures.

Mads,

I try to stay out of the cold, and snow, and build something usefull, like this prototype gatedriver board for Thumper:

And in another view:

1291575664 205 FT102421 Gatedriver1

The 27321 is just a dummy to test if the size is right. The real deal is a SiP41111 half bridge driver from Vishay. Link2

This is just a testament to me disliking gate drive transformers, even though they are probably all right.

Cheers, Finn Hammer

Im still waiting for the snow to come. Up here its been 15 to 20 degrees below for weeks now, and the snow just wont fall at those temperatures. It's supposed to warm up a bit next week, so i have my fingers crossed.

But i dont really have snowmen in my mind. wink

up in WA state here, we got a great early snow storm with about a foot covering the state. now its warmed a bit and melted/froze into terrible stuff. To me there is nothing better than a dark snowy day :). I think sometime I will attempt another build of a snow machine too, my ghetto rigged one didn't work too well!
