So i am currently building a ZVS driver which is going to be powered by a car battery or a computer power supply, i would like to know which model of MOSFET will be more apropriate for it? I can currently by the IRFP460 one and the IRFP250N one.

Go for the IRFP250N, it can handle more current.

One more question, are these inductors ok for the ZVS or do i need torroidal ones?

depending on the power level, the inductor tends to get very hot.

Those you pointed on Ebay would be probably melting in just a few seconds.

Get some Ferrite, some tick insulated wire, and wind your own little coil.

Does it matter if the wire is stranded?

No, you can use stranded copper PVC insulated wire for almost everything.

Does that include the FBT 5+5 primary? I was thinking about using 18 awg magnetic wire there.

I have tried all sorts of chokes working my way through various levels; however I always used a toroidal (and rather a heavy shape design). I agree that those simply aren't appropriate for the current. The ZVS design is made for high current. In fact if you aren't using about 5A or better; your results will be the same as many simplistic designs.
What has been helpful is knowing that the 470ohm resistors need to be at minimum 3watts (the 10k can be little 1/2W),connections short as possible. Efficient, well designed heat sinks & insulation for the MOSFETS, and the "output" capacitor as high quality, non-electrolytic are a fairly mandatory assembly issue(s).

Well, i was going to power the whole circuit with a SLA car battery but the cost will be very high, so now i am considering a computer PSU as my power supply. As for the caps, i have ordered these ones. I think they are ok.
But my main concerns still are the primary and the inductor. I can't seem to find the appropriate wire for the primary nor a toroidal inductor.

By the way i don't see a 470ohm resistor in my schematic. It has only 2 10Kohm and 2 1Kohm@5W.
