Brings back the good days of Blue Man Group...PVC instruments...Always wanted to make one just for fun, but they take up so much room that I don't have!

It would be great to make one that covered the entire piano scale but making 88 pipes (some would be quite long) would be a fairly large purchase. The tuning would also drift depending on the ambient temperature too...

It sounds remarkably like an old analog synth.
I was plumbing in a dishwasher at the weekend and I noticed that the drain pipes made some quite musical sounds by hitting the ends. Couldn't really be bothered building a full instrument though.
