I saw a program last night where political and north Korean analytics's was talking about the coming change of dictator, a war would be the best solution in order to get him into the heart of the people as noone at this point knows him.

Frightening for SK that will take a huge blow in a war, but honestly, NK will be bombed further back than... hmm they are pretty far back in 95% of the country... it will only be a sad story :(

problem is if NK attacks SK, SK will almost definatley loose due to NKs nuclear power :S
then other contrys will step in against NK and it will turn into one big blood bath :S

Meh. Worst case scenario: War breaks out, thousands die, North Korea is utterly crushed and what was started 60 years ago will be finally finished. I'll eat my hat if nukes start flying.

Maybe just a little hint of drama added?

If this counts as WWIII starting, I've got bad news. It started about 15 years ago.

This one is slightly more egregious than average, but those two exchange fire with casualties every year or two. Usually it's naval engagements, but not always.

North Korea knows that a full scale war would end in the utter destruction of their country. Kim John Il is pretty happy with the status quo. It isn't likely to come to full scale war. This is likely more sabre rattling as the North prepares to bring Kim Jong Un (Il's son) in as the new leader.

No offense but I'd think twice before trusting the media in these matters, for example, how do we know that it was NK who attacked first?, aperantly the SK was playing around with their guns right next to the border... to be honest that may not be the smartest thing to do. Maybe NK misunderstood the intentions of SK, after all it might seem a bit threating to see another nations military with guns right across the border. Maybe some of the SK military guys actaully did attack NK first (by accident or whatever). Or maybe NK attacked first just like the media claims, I dont know and Im pretty sure you and the media dont know either.

Quite right, Glud. We know no more than is served up to us by the corporate media.
