I have a beef with arc attack. They really don't do anything worthy of all that praise. I mean look, the guy just stands around in a metal suit next to DRSSTCs and waves his arms. I saw a video of them "behind the scenes" and most of the audio is played by a computer. (MIDI).

Sounds like a big pain in the #ss to get that to work. Why not make a bunch of plasma arcs connected to piano keys; each running at a different freq. A plasma organ! I'd build it but then I wouldn't be able to play it for the life of me.

eek thats quite expencive for me you could make 50 primarys and secondrys and drive them off one BIG circuit then tune it useing semiconducters to slow down or speed up each one?

Maybe, but the semiconductors are cheap. The coils are the expensive things. You'll need to find a lot of matching flybacks. I suppose you could also modulate just one coil, but then it wouldn't look nearly as cool.
