Homemade RC helicopter.

This is project that I have been working on for a while now. A homemade RC helicopter. Currently I have completed the majority of the building and it is almost ready to fly. It's constructed of mainly Aluminum, Brass and HDPE plastic. It's made almost entirely by hand (bandsaw for plastic, dremel + files to for metal)

I had to redesign the rotor head after my first design, which relied on friction between the brass tube and the bearing failed after trying heavier blades.

Electronics are off the shelf. Although I am planning to implement a DIY piezo gyro based stabilizer if my flybarless design is not stable enough.
