Here are two that I have created on my own. I haven't seen them anywhere else, so I decided to post them here.

Length of wire (in feet) for a given number of turns around a toroid of given dimensions:

(T * (OD - ID + 2 * H) + (ML / 2.54))

Where:
-T is number of turns
-OD is outer diameter of toroid in inches
-ID is inner diameter of toroid in inches
-H is height of toroid in inches
-ML is mean length of toroid in centimeters (usually given as centimeters)

Surface area of a toroid in square centimeters:

pi * (OD + ID) * H + (pi * (OD / 2)^2 - pi * (ID / 2)^2)

-OD is outer diameter of toroid in centimeters
-ID is inner diameer of toroid in centimeters
-H is height of toroid in centimeters

First post updated with all of the links, categorized and such.

UPDATE: Fixed Killah573's formula, fixed a spelling error (i spelled it whats instead of watts if you must know XD). Thanks Killah573 and MadsKaizer for letting me know.

I also added two of the datasheet places i use under a new catagory for datasheet places.

You guys are awesome!! This is such an awesome reference.. I was always annoyed how hard it was to get my hands on all these...

Anything about Herts? I realize its a simple frequency formula [F(x) = A(sin/cos)(X+b)-c] But it would be good to find a quick method to transfer hert to formula QUICK...

It has been awhile since i have even thought about this thread. I am going to sorta bump it, maybe new members can contribute, and some people may have more to add.

I am restarting it mainly because i added a new link. It is very useful information about IGBTs. If you are planning a drsstc and do not know what IGBT's are best, this is a good thing to read. It talks about temperature coefficients, NPT and PT (non punch through and punch through) differences on page three, that is one of the most useful pieces of information i have read yet. It has been added to the original post, but for convenience, here it is:

Thanks for creating and maintaining the list, and reminding us of it.

1. The "Ohms Law calculator" link to a compuserve page is dead.
Do you mind reviewing the rest of the list, or want a volunteer to do that?

2. A suggestion regarding the -organization- of your links:

A somewhat sharp line can be drawn between the many Online Calculators and Simulators,
most of which hide their formulas

and links which directly present formulas, tabular data, explanations, real-world experiences, etc.

How about if -all- links in the former category get descriptions that include the keyword Calculator, or Simulator? (Most already do.) Then readers of either persuasion can tell up front which to visit and which to skip.
The exception cases could have names with, for example, "Calculator and Formulas".

Make the captions like basic eletronics, tesla coils etc in a larger type and bold, would make it seems better organised.

Lots of tube amplifier shcematics, its in italian, but you can either google translate or its not hard to think what the catagories are if you think for a second. :

This is a good page for some simulation programs. I really like the tube database also.
