If you are planning on increasing the power of the heater, I wouldn't recommend using standard insulated wire, or any plastic near the work coil for that matter. I havn't tried making an induction heater yet, but plastic and heating really doesn't sound like a good idea to me. Have you looked up the formulae to estimate the frequency it would run at with different coils/capacitors?

to tell you the truth no i have done not a single calculation other than counting turns for coils. but any one willing to help it not go in vain ill listen to anything anyone has to say but i am 1 of those "if it didn't work try something else to the "more" power(lol)

You need more capacitance in the tank circuit, if you wan't to use less turns. This will also give more energy per bang, so I guess It would help the performance too.

The caps that people use for MMCs on SGTCs would probably be ideal, but they would be expensive. I guess you could just use more beer bottle caps, altought they are lossy, atleast they're cheap tongue

(Btw, 1 largeish beer bottle should be around 1nF, that should give a rough idea on the amount of caps needed)
