what is the smallest flyback you have ever found? confused
rules
*pictures don't count
*must be a flyback or line output transformer
*please provide a picture


heres my flyback. it's about 12mm long 8mm wide and 8mm high
I was going to turn it into a mini CRO but I accidentally fried a smd transistor by overvolting it sad

They are trigger transformers that output ~4Kv to ionize the xenon gass inside the flashtube.

I found some really cute little ones in a laser printer; an individual ioniser for each drum; they were small, but had nice big cores, which I'll use wink

The main transformers in them, have the typical low impedance primary, a secondary that outputs the high voltage, and a feedback winding which goes directly to the transistors gate. It may not be a flyback by some technical defintion, but it goes into the circuit like a flyback...
