I noticed that Sun just brought out "Project Blackbox", a shipping container stuffed full of rackmount servers with extreme water cooling. It looks like an awesome piece of engineering.
I hate to sound cynical, but I nearly spat coffee all over my keyboard laughing when I saw their scenario pic of it painted UN white and photoshopped into an African refugee camp. I guess the people in the foreground are bringing cooling water for it

That is an awesome piece of hardware. It's interesting that they've created an entire datacenter that can be dropped into place anywhere there is water and power. Perhaps instead of building a server room, companies may choose instead to simply install one of these things outside the building, right next to the external A/C unit.
Their usage scenarios are great. Someone must have had a lot of fun coming up with those. The refugee camp thing seems a little unlikely, but I could certainly see it as a good way to stick a datacenter on an oil rig or other remote location..
