Ok, I am a solidworks person. I can do a heck of a lot more, and do it 100x faster, in solidworks than any other 3d drawing program.
Now, I am also an eagle person, and I was playing around with eagle3d to make some nice 3d models of a board. These models are in .pov format, and can be rendered with pov-ray.
I was wondering if it is possible to export the pov file into something that solidoworks can use, which is IGES, STEP, ACIS, VDAFS, VRML (probably my best bet), STL, Catia Graphics, UGII, or IDF.
So my question is... Can I export a .pov file into one of the above formats?
I can do the reverse with STL2POV, export the object as .stl in solidworks, then use stl2pov, then make that into a macro for eagle3d (that is how I made the SMA connectors on the board I posted in the cool pics thread).
