Hi, not sure exactly why this was kept out of the media but it appears that a small experimental probe was launched from the spaceport in Alaska 3 hours ago.
The craft upon reaching LEO then began accelerating using its own onboard drive and upon reaching what is estimated to be 57.779% of the speed of light vanished for about 14 seconds then reappeared. Its now over 500,000 miles away ie well beyond lunar orbit, all onboard systems seem to be working fine though the core did get significantly drained in the process.
It appears from the preliminary LIGO data that the process of generating a warp field is relatively benign, though as expected equivalent onboard G-force is over 900G so some sort of dampeners may be required for a manned flight.

The usual remedy for the core getting drained is to revitalise the di-lithium crystals with a blast from hand-held phasers, but of course that only works on this date.
