Thanks for the help!
Bet those make you popular with the ladies.. ;)

Where did you source those from? Online?

Get a 555 IC and Google an oscillator circuit for it,
Then get another of the same transistor you’re using in the slayer circuit to rapidly switch power to the whole slayer exciter.
If you set the RC values for the 555 oscillator to a frequency faster than the eye can perceive, you’ll end up distributing heat
more or less between the two transistors, and suffer little if any perceivable performance loss.

Tell me when you use multiple transistors in parallel does one transistor get hotter than the others?
I suspect it’s not a good idea, and the fastest transistor will suffer all of the work.

When I parallel mine, I used some 2ohm resistors on each base to help ...

I only want to use one or two mosfets or transistors, more than that is too complicated, I am not much into electronics...
But to avoid much heat, I must get the semiconductors in 'Class E'. What is the way to do that?

It's not easy without an oScope ... Trust me... lot's of dead switches... Other than that, look for class E threads in the forums here

Link2

page 2 has the schematic I drew up for my 3MHz SSTC youre probably only interested in the last half that has do do with the MOSFET

Thanks. In the meantime I tried with a TIp143. Darlington, he died...
