Just wondering, are the recommended voltage ratings of MOSFETs/IGBTs used in the ZVS circuit quoted as being "4 times the voltage supply" because of resonant rise, meaning the transistors see a greater voltage than the power supply input?
If so, is there a way to estimate or calculate the amount of resonant rise and what are some methods of mitigating this resonant rise effect?

The peak drain voltage is pi times the DC voltage, and this is caused by the way the circuit operates. This is not caused by resonant rise, but by the operation of the DC link inductor. There is no way to reduce this voltage without significantly changing the way the circuit operates.
