so i had the craving to buy something on ebay (paypal money burning a hole in my pocket)

i came across this, i cant find much info on it but it seems real small and may possibly make one of my back burnered projects a lot easier.
Link2

anyone have any info on it, any experience with it? i am not as educated as a lot of you guys but i plan to reverse engineer it when i get it and probably switch out the bridge with some better stuff...

It seems quite expensive for what it is / does, it would probably be cheaper to buy the components you need for your other projects individually.

Looks good for a pre-made package, including boards.

I don't think they have the volume for super-low prices.

What is your desire? It looks like a working system with demo videos.

basically im trying to build a desktop plasma speaker. Im hoping to cram everything inside of a atx power supply enclosure. I dont have experience in making my own pcb's so this is about my best bet.

I was testing it the other night and works. Well it did work. Turns out that i should have reverse engineered it a little before i just assumed things. The bridge and logic have their powers connected, though they have separate inputs.

My laptop charger (power for the logic) was the first item to tell me it didnt like being back fed 40vdc. Tho it survived. The voltage regulator was the next part to let out the smoke. I replaced that and one of the TC4421CPA's was next to immediately show its displeasure. So now i need to order a full set of replacement silicon, and some better transistors.

It does in fact come with a brand new flyback that has a primary already wound on it.

The board says "Plasma speaker driver designed by rudolf" and it has 2) TC4421CPA's and a TL494CN. Does that give anyone any clues where i can find some info on this circuit?
