Ok, so I've got this friend I really like to email, and I only get an email from her after she tries to send it about three times. She seems to have no trouble getting mine. She's got a university e-address, mine is an att.net address. If it is the firewall, why can she send me email at all? How can I get this problem to stop because I'm missing about half her emails, and if it's too much trouble she might stop altogether. Which would really stink.

Thanks

Does she get any error messages when she tries to send it to you? becuase if she does it could be on her end, and i don't think your firewall would be stopping the e-mails. If you ahve any spam e-mail blocking stuff you might want to see if it's filtering it out, her schools SMTP server could also be filtering it out or sending it to the wrong section of the university network. If it's not a problem on her end, or with spam blocking utilities, you could just try calling her i guess. If you can provide more information i might be able to help a lil more.

Some servers will filter public and web mail domains. Notably, if they have encrypted or unauthorized file attachments like zip files etc. Also, some servers send so much spam there may be a quota limit.

Both get gmail, yahoo, and or scatterchat over tor.

Hmm. I just found out ATT has a built-in spam blocker that deletes emails before you even get to decide if they're spam or not. I had to log into my profile online to even find out about it. Hopefully that will fix it. Thanks.
