Hi all. Just changed out the display at great expense and... Still doing weird segments
Its one of the Vellemann kits, which I like as they have an uncommitted pad area on one corner of the PCB, which is just the thing for installing laser sensors etc on.
The voltage sensitivity is a bit strange, and whenever it changes random dots appear on the decimal area. Yet the other correct decimals seem to behave perfectly.
Any ideas? I am loathe to throw it away because it cost £29. thanks, -A

7 segment, I've wondered about just grounding all the dots but that would affect other functions. Whats strange is that the readings are all over the place, so I suspect either a broken ground INSIDE the chip or some other anomaly.
