One would assume, apparently google doesn't know but I don't think this part would be any different in its numbering than every other part like it on the planet.

The pin numbers are shown on the second-last page of the SCR datasheet that you linked.

Hand in your geekpoints at the door on the way out. tongue

im sorry, i didnt make myself clear >.<, i cant work out the pin numberings, ive got 50 different sites telling me different numbers and the datasheet isnt exactly clear x.x
Make an SCR test jig. Use a car battery or 12v supply (instead of capacitor) and a 60w light bulb (instead of coil). I've had a lot of trouble identifying terminals or even knowing if the dumb SCR is working or not. Believe me, this can save you a lot of time and frustration.

Cheers, Barry

I made a awful coilgun 450v @ 1500uF, anyway I used a relatively small SCR, I checked the datasheet, looked to see what the gate voltage was and then I just used a small switch and a AAA battery to trigger it, worked perfect.

I tried to trigger an SCR with an ATX PSU once, but forgot that the supply ground is connected to mains ground, and the charging system was rectified mains. Needless to say, the GFI went instantly. cheesey
