It seems that some VERY bored scriptors recreated the episode in command prompt. I am unsure if it works on all pc's but it does work on xp. Just open command prompt and type in 'telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl' and hit enter. Enjoy

there is no " Star Wars Episode IV hidden in Command Prompt" nor in windows (any version).
Telnet is an application that creates a virtual text terminal to a remote server where everything you type is sent to the server, and any text that it may generate is seen by you because the server sent that text to you. It is the predecessor to SSH
towel.blinkenlights.nl is the name of the server. telnet 94.142.241.111 would cause the same thing.
All the ascii is sent to you from the remote server. You can disable your internet and it will not work.
To all those who thought you are viewing an 'easter egg', sorry, no.
