Rewind to the start and read this: Link2
When you have figured out exactly what card you got then you check if there is a proper driver for it at ati.com. If the card was made before Windows 7 there is no guarantee that there is a driver for it, if so you buy a new card or use a different operating system (read the requirements for the game).

That is the problem, i am in a pickle. I bought the game while i still had XP, because i knew it would work on XP. I didn't know that i had so many virus problems and that i would end up having to reinstall windows. I can't go back to Windows XP, unless i want a non-genuine version, which would make many other things not work, due to not being able to get the most recent windows media player etc. Also, i have no money to buy a new video card. I will just have to wait until i get a job i guess. And even then, how can i know a video card will fix my problems?

How else can i know if the driver i downloaded works or not? I have looked for updates and Windows said mine is up to date, and it also says that the device is working properly, but that is only the video card itself. Everything else on my computer seems to be working well. If a new video card would fix it, this does not explain why i had the same problem with my laptop.
