Post your pictures here on the Attachments forum, then you insert the corresponding link/img tags in any of your posts you want to add pictures to. If you click the edit

button in the post with your pictures you can copy the link/img tags that the forum software generated without you having to type them in. The pictures must be 400 pixels wide or less. If they are wider you have to include the width parameter in the img tag.

Example (replace any ( ) with [ ]):


(link=http://4hv.org/e107_themes/4hvtheme1/images/logo.jpg)

(img:width=200)http://4hv.org/e107_themes/4hvtheme1/images/logo.jpg(/img)

(/link)

It will display a clickable thumbnail like this:

If you don't want to link to a larger version of the picture you use the img tag alone:


(img:width=200)http://4hv.org/e107_themes/4hvtheme1/images/logo.jpg(/img)

It will display a thumbnail without a link like this:

Remember, it is important that you double check your post to make sure everything is correct. It is easy to make a mistake and the moderators may delete your pictures or even the whole post if you mess with the formatting of the board.

you can also browse to files that are on you web site and add them from the http address.

I see other members have photos in their post that are not here on the attachment page so what gives i.e. how did they do that? lol

How do you upload a photo from your PC into this attachments forum?

How do you upload a photo from your PC into your message?

If nothing else where can I read how its done?

I see the insert image here icon {img]mypicture.jpg[/img} in the message box so do I copy/paste the photo properties from its location in my documents?

Wish it were just select and upload your photo or something simple like that…
