How to add thumbnailed pictures to a post

Post your pictures here on the Attachments forum, then you insert the corresponding link/img tags in any of your posts you want to add pictures to. If you click the edit button in the post with your pictures you can copy the link/img tags that the forum software generated without you having to type them in. The pictures must be 600 pixels wide or less. If they are wider you have to include the width parameter in the img tag.


Example (replace any ( ) with [ ]):
[size]

(link=http://4hv.org/e107_themes/4hvtheme1/images/logo.jpg)
(img:width=200)http://4hv.org/e107_themes/4hvtheme1/images/logo.jpg(/img)
(/link)

[/size]

It will display a clickable thumbnail like this:





If you don't want to link to a larger version of the picture you use the img tag alone:
[size]

(img:width=200)http://4hv.org/e107_themes/4hvtheme1/images/logo.jpg(/img)

[/size]

It will display a thumbnail without a link like this:




Remember, it is important that you double check your post to make sure everything is correct. It is easy to make a mistake and the moderators may delete your pictures or even the whole post if you mess with the formatting of the board.
