hi coilers amazed
this is another of my project small DRSSTC
I use a full-bridge 50B60 igbt
I do not have OCD, PREDICTOR cheesey primary current over 300А suprised when the arc may up to 400A suprised in this coil did not explode none igbt cheesey
very often strike in the primary winding angry
constantly exploding capacitors in MMC amazed
this coil is so loud that the neighbors killing shades

You never seize to amaze me with those crude coils that pump out gigantic violent and scary arcs in only a way a Russian can do it.

Please give more details about your resonant frequencies, MMC capacitance etc.

I saw this coil pop up on YouTube and it simply amazed me. You've outdone yourself again, Zil! Such raw power in that arc!

Wow, awesome!
You developed the single transistor tesla coil into a full bridge DRSSTC.
How does it behave at higher pulse rate? Or hard arcing at earth?

it is quite normal for the coil
but mains wiring in the house begins to melt ill

That's an interesting design. You seem to have a huge primary inductance of about 110uH. This way you can store a lot of energy in the primary tank until it is dumped into the secondary when it is pulled into tune. This sudden discharge probably causes a lot of voltage in the secondary, so that flashovers become likely.
I guess you use long bursts (500us?) due to the slow current rampup.

Can you post a picture of your primary? Why do you have a toroid in the middle of the secondary?
