Ethics on stealing pictures for the Wiki

Hey I was wondering. It's REALLY annoying to go take a picture of something you're writing about, especially when you don't have one. So, what constitues "fair game"?
The only picture I haven't taken myself or referenced appropriately was
I stole that one from ebay auction
The main reason I ask is because sometimes I wonder about certain pictures in the articles I'm editing and whether I should replace them with something more "open source" or just don't bother.
Thanks

Remember that the license terms apply; anything posted on the wiki is licensed under a creative commons license. If you don't have permission to release the picture under that license, you really shouldn't be posting it. There's a chance it could cause a major fuss somewhere down the line. Posts on 4hv, however, are fair game, as they are under the same license, unless otherwise noted.
