The pictures show the butterfly in this Geissler tube in UV light.
ASA400, exposure time 1/20 s.
ASA400, exposure time 1/40 s.
Note the different colors for the two different exposure times.
At the lower exposure time the glass fluorescence is also almost invisible.
On the upper left is the UV lamp reflex, which looks with the naked eye really violet and not light blue as seen in the picture.
With the naked eye the reflex of the UV lamp looks really violet and not light blue as seen in the picture.
