12dq6b pentode vttc?

Hey Im getting some 12dq6b tubes from a friend and wanted to know if it's possible for them to be used in a vttc circuit. all i can find is they're pentodes and if I can't make a vttc with them, I can make a ham radio amp with them.

Should work. A single tube might not give a very impressive spark, but you can stick several in parallel for more power.

Ya,
I have used two 6DQ6 pentodes in parallel final stage of a CW transmiter @ 50MHz . year of 1970.
600volts at anode, class c,
Since the frequency of your vttc is lower than 50MHz ypu may put 5 tubes or more in parallel.

Alright Thanks I am getting 4 of them so it should be alright!

Using tubes in parallel in a VTTC you will thank yourself for making the feedback coil tap-able on the last 4-5 turns or have some high voltage potentiometers to adjust the feedback for each tube separately, else you will never get them to share load evenly.
