Pros? Cons? Wanted to get other's experience.

Well from what i have seen and read, tungsten is the best due to the high melting point. That and everyone seems to use it. Never heard of anyone using Molybdenum before.

The melting point of Tungsten is around 800 degrees Celsius higher than Molybdenum.

The main reason is however price and availability, tungsten can be found everywhere as it is used in many wear part applications.

From what I recall, moly is sometimes used in vacuum applications where sputtering can be an issue, if I remember correctly. Whether there will be any sputtering/EDM advantages here I wouldn't know. How do tungsten electrodes stand up to erosion?

I've always thought heated, pumped Gallium Electrodes would be good if you set it up in a special way, safer then mercury

tungsten is the best for electrodes, but molybdenum can be used as well. both materials are certainly better than copper.
