TC music

I want to play some music from my favorite bands on my TCs. The TCs run off some midi files but I also want to accompany them by e.g. the vocals or other parts of the original sound track on speakers. The questions are:

a) Is there any way to remove the TC part from the original sound track, so I don't have it twice, i.e. on the coils and the speakers?
b) How do I synchronize the speaker track (e.g. from an mp3) to the midi?

Use fl studios, and you can send certain instruments and channels to a midi port. You can mute the channels you want to send the coil on your computer, and route them to your controller. Then the vocals will play from your computer via either on board speakers or out your headphone jack.

Thank you for the info.

I'd need the vocals then as part of the midi? How do I go about this?

In the recording studio, music is made by mixing a bunch of different audio tracks together. What you want requires unmixing them again (and possibly converting audio to MIDI) which is a similar process to unscrambling an egg.

I would go about it by performing my own cover version of the song from scratch, so I would have the original multitrack recordings.
