What I do is chuck the tungsten up in a drill, and dremel while it's spinning, or use an angle grinder with a smooth disk. Big solid dremel bits only, the thin ones just crumble. Once its close to the shape you want, sand paper/emery cloth until its smooth, and finer papers to polish it off. Thin tungsten goes pretty quick, maybe ten minutes of dremeling and sanding for a set. As it gets corroded, go back to the sand paper to polish it again. Atleast you don't have to worry about gouging the tungsten, right?
