Thanks for the offer, I'm in contact with a company that supplies stainless/kevlar yarn so I'll so what comes of that. I've also ordered a couple of stainless/kevlar gloves to do some low power testing with.

I would go for the chain mail. It's about as conductive as suits get, and it looks bad ass too.

You could also take up sword fighting.

Repeat it can't be chain mail for various practical reasons. Live line hot workers don't use chainmail suits, they use conductive fabric for the same reasons I need conductive fabric.

Er. no! unless you use it as a wick and soak it in paraffin, but then it's the paraffin that's burning not the Kevlar. You may be thinking of Kapton wiring insulation which can break down over time and result in electrical fires due to short circuits/arcing?
