Hi Ken,

I also did this using four computer heatsinks but the problem I have is that the devices are a long way apart and this adds a lot of inductance.

There is a lot to be said for using dual IGBT modules that minimise inductance between the two devices.

Yes, good thermal design and safety clearances are pretty much the enemies of low stray inductance. You have to make a three-way tradeoff.
