You do have it wired up ( the primary) as a 2 turn with a center tap and each transistors output tied to each end of the coil with + in the middle, and using 24v+ right?

As far as I can tell - yes it is wired up correctly.
At one point I even had a dual channel trace showing the two signals (one for each of L1 and L2) with the high frequency component inverted with respect to each other. So I *think* it's working correctly.
The 555 is firing a 1ms pulse in the 50 - 100 Hz range which is running through the first Mosfet and on to the other two.
Since it runs the 555 timer from the power line, I can't go any higher than 15v on the supply. But it is supposed to work with 12v.
Since this is my first SSTC - I was wondering if someone could validate the design - or give me some test points to try. There do seem to be a lot of diodes, and I'm not really sure why.
...and I still don't fully grasp *how* the feedback circuit is being used to control the output of the two main MOSFETS.
Did you measure how much V is putting your psu when you run TC? It dont have to be 12V always, it can be also 3V, it depends on how powerful and good it is...
Also, if no breakout, does it light fluorescent tubes?
