A-HA!! I knew there was something wierd about how they looked like inside

Well, as nasty as that looks, I still love chicken nuggets...
then again though, if this grosses you out, just imagine what other food products you eat that have the same (or simular) process of manufacturing.

Yeah, I'm guessing beef patties use the same process. The part that really bothers me is the ammonia cleaning and that it takes away the flavor so that they have to artificially flavor it... At that point, why not just use tofu? :/

If the ammonia part bothered you then I assume you didnt watch the video on where that delicious pink soft serve came from? Even I was pretty shocked by the footage of 150,000 live male chicks being dumped into a meat grinder every day...

I missed that, but have read about chicken production facilities being infiltrated and filmed by PETA activists.
One thing that gives me no trouble is euthanasia by shredder, if each chick-sorting work station has to destroy 1000 males per hour.
With caring operators it would be as humane as, say, shooting animals in the brain. Got a better way?

all,

I seem to recall late Frank Zappa singing about Chicken McNuckets in the album Thing Fish way back. Nevet touched the things after that.
(Woman: "Harry, they pissed un os, they f*****g pissed on us!" Harry: "Zimmer down, it probably wasn't real piss, only theatre piss, -come right off with woolite")

=:)
Cheers, Finn Hammer

Well. Never know they were made that way. Yet a lot if food does have storys behind it that most people don't know (like hotdogs). Either way, they do still taste good. As long as they are bacteria free when they arrive on my tray, I'm still eating!

There's probably flesh in there. There's probably a bit of everything in there.
