hello i have build a sstc this design:
so i got it all working, put two mosfet's in the circuit the mosfet's die. put new one's in and it worked got sparks. now i want to put a metal object near it. but as soon as i put a screwdriver (grounded ofcourse) near the output, it's output begins to crackle, sounds like it's detuning it's self, but it's feedback driven so how can that happen?

if you try to draw arcs from the secondary, you kill the resonant rise, the secondary current doesnt return to zero and the oscillation stops until the next interrupter pulse.
