Chris, what were your favorites from QS&L? I seem to recall you liked the Turbocharged (formerly Suicide) and I think you liked the Arizona Ranch I kept in the house.

I think my absolute favorite is the Supercharged sauce, for the authentic wing experience. It's hot, but at least to me, it's not un-enjoyably hot. Arizona ranch is definitely top-notch, but as I mentioned above, I'd suggest that the uninitiated stick to a classic sauce at first. Other good flavors: Buckeye BBQ, Thai-R-Cracker, and Cajun. Also, their straight up Mild, Medium, and Hot wing sauces are pretty good, too.

Now I'm really starting to crave some wings. I guess I know what I'm doing for dinner tonight. cheesey

I'm with ya Chris. It's Tuesday, so All You Can Eat at QS&L. I'm sorely tempted to make a run up there before my radio club meeting tonight. I'd kill for a full bucket split 50/50 Parmesan Pepper and Arizona Ranch right now.

What are the odds...I get home from work, and my wife is finishing cooking up a batch of wings for dinner...first time we've had them in a few weeks. Must be all the collective wings craving from here put it on her brain or something...

I have tried plenty of the 'insane' style sauces with habanero, but I really don't care for the flavor it adds (or jalapenos for that matter). Really like more of the classic wings sauce.

In all the years I've tried to make Buffalo wings and failed, all I needed to do was come to 4HV.
My problem was oven roasting them and using West Indian pepper sauce. Plus, I'd never used butter.

So I go to Walmart, get some Franks and Louisiana (The difference appears to be Franks uses garlic) and make two batches as described here.
Low and behold, Buffalo wings as per any good USA "wings" eaterie I've been to. Very nice!

And in case anyone in the UK is interested, you can get Franks at Sainsburys and Louisiana in Asda. (At least in Eltham/Bexley)

Cheers...
