 		The switch in a Class-E amp needs to be able to stand a voltage of at least pi times the DC bus voltage.

The actual mains voltage here in the UK is 240V which rectifies to 340V DC.

Pi times that is 1066V. So you need at least a 1200V MOSFET and those are somewhat rare and expensive.

(Class-E at 4MHz doesn't work with IGBTs, television HOTs etc.)

 		Looks good.

Although i would use an isolation transformer. That thing is pretty darn dangerous hanging directly off the AC line.

 		Steve Conner was correct as to how it starts as far as I know. I pretty much just copied Waverider's design. I am using an isolation transformer for testing but I plan on removing it in the final design.
