This happens to me, but with broken electronics... in fact I have a faulty TFT monitor on my bench at work right now! Last month I had another TFT sitting there. At home I have 2 VCRs lined up, plus a shuttle PC, and I've recently got rid of (on eBay!) a freeview recorder that had a faulty SMPS.

I find the quantity of stuff goes down if you take ages... I also never say no, but then I take forever to actually get started because I'm busy with other things. I used to often find myself fixing peoples PCs all the time, mostly doing fresh installs, but I haven't had one for a while now.

How much fun is trying to get that head gasket to sit still when you drop the head back on it? ;) What kind of rear diff does your truck have?

Well the same guy just had me fix his dryer that's kinda funny he sent me a text as I was at work today and he said Hey can u give me a hand when u get home the dryer stopped spinning and your the home appliance master. And me being my nice self I replied sure cheesey And Nick my diff is a ten bolt seven and a half inch pinion ring it is kinda small but the truck is OK it has an 8 foot bed.

Oh and the head gasket was not so bad to line up I used a head bolt to keep it still along with the guides that are built in to the bottom end it went smoothly the timing was the hard part that is what took me the longest because I did not want to take the crank pulley off I used a really long socket wrench extension to drop down the number one cylinder to get it top dead center and just fiddled with the cam gears to get it perfect that engine starts and purrs like a kitten.

Man I took the bed off my truck only 10 bolts so it would be easier to work on and I found Swiss cheese for a frame :( but I hit it pretty hard with my sledge and it held up sounded strong I have to buy a new ring and pinion for the differential because off broken teeth another $120 down the drain.
