wow, thanks very much for posting that! I couldn't find the full specs anywhere

turns out I've already been running them out of spec, but they still live on! I'm wondering now what the '7' is referring to in the 'use' column..?

Some part numbers don't exist, especially on ic chips. A good amount of the numbers are proprietary, hence the mystery.
That is true, I just meant it could get filled with people asking for the datasheet for their 74ls00... I have seen it before.

that said, I think it could be a great idea, I may have some parts that need identifying myself.

Oh! Don't get me wrong! Any possible way someone can help another find specs on a component would be awesome!!
I have spent much time ripping my hair out trying to find datasheets! I think its a good idea!

I like this thread!

I need to figure a new diode from a plasma TV out, it is RF2001 0_o. Also a 45f122 mosfet? The mosfet seems to be Toshiba, and the diode has an R in the space for the manufacturer.

I can already tell the mosfet is nothing great :P.

Any other numbers/letters?

I have some vidicons that I would really like the datasheet for. I'll post the part numbers when I get home.

S4152 for the small one and 20PE13A for the larger one

I cant seem to find a datasheet for something either.. the part number is s10259, it came from a busted regulator unit that was covered in epoxy, but the thing was very damaged (the TO-220 was broken in half) and only S10259 was visable,

there is no visable signs that will give away the make of this device.

as said, its a to-220 3 pinned thing, I think it is a transistor (the regulator was handling 12V at ~7A)

Have you tried datasheet archive with wildcards? They have some pretty obscure stuff....

I tried a few different searches for s10259 but I didn't have some of the desired info aside from a to-220 package, but you might get a hit.
