I just settled down to read the paper (when I should have been doing the secondary coil) when I came across
an article in the â€˜New Straits Timesâ€™, Malaysiaâ€™s national newspaper.
A bold heading yelled â€˜The Genius That Lit The Worldâ€™. Alarm bells started ringing;
could it be Tesla?
It Was!
It was it was an article about Tesla; In all his glory, his achievements, patents and sheer genius.

Howeverâ€¦
Looking a little further down I saw the words:

Tesla purple plates, which are antennas for cosmic energy...

Wait... Hang on, Cosmic energy????
It turns out that the author had disgracefully used the great Nikola Teslaâ€™s name on a pseudoscience cure!

To make matters worse, this was no advertisement; It was in the â€˜Healthâ€™ section.
The second half is completely loaded with ridiculous claims associated with â€˜Tesla purple platesâ€™ such as:

For example, the energy level of an average human being is about 20-25 (on a scale of 0 to 100)
and the energy level increases to 90-95 if the person carries a Tesla plate.

Maybe its because I worship Tesla :P but I find this disgusting!

Bwahahaha! Once you have an energy level of 100 you'll reach critical mass and detonate.

Im sorry if i cant take this serious, but shit like this happens all the time. The author is using Tesla, and mentioning a few of his real achievements, to make his product seem more credible.

Among his inventions were the Tesla coil which is used in radio and television sets, fluorescent light, microwaves, the loudspeaker, wireless communications, radar, X-ray, remote control, turbines and vertical take-off aircraft.

What is it with these guys and the color purple?

there was a scam a while back where they sold the "tesla shields" or whetever, and those did some magical thing with someones "energy"

Im pretty sure Ive seen this before, in a different color at the dollar store, they are typicly used to store doggy shit bags
