Wow! Someone offered to buy them from me, but I like the cap idea a whole lot better! Yes, I still have them.

These go up to 1000v dc or 750v AC. They're no flukes, but they work pretty good.

One or two what? Are you thinking of putting the meters in series? I've never done it, but I'm sure it is possible if they are well isolated from ground.

Also, How many caps do you have, and would you like anything else? I've always wanted a "real" capacitor bank.

I'm willing to trade for big capacitors. >1500uf at 400v+.

I may also trade for something just completely cool. Geissler or Crooke's tubes, uranium/thorium, wacky stuff like that.

I really need lead for some xray shielding, but what kinda price are we talking about for a shield big enough to fit a tube and the item to be x-rayed and this 10.5x10.5 cassette? The voltage would be no more than 50kv at any time, mostly likely 30kv, so just a mm or 2 of shielding is enough.

I've decided to use the lead sheet for my machine, but I have plenty of muffins! I'll sell them for about 50c each; the price a scrapyard would give me. That box was made from about 14 of them. It's not too tough to make plates out of them, just heat and pour into a mold.
